Thank you so so much to everybody who responded to my call out for “how can we make this club better?” feedback. A couple of quick things:

1. A few people asked that we publish the upcoming Live Session dates in advance - just wanted to say that we actually do! :) Every month I send out an email with the subject: “October Live Session Dates” so you can pop them straight in your calendar plus I pop a post in the Facebook Group and pin it up the top so you can see it easily. Anyway, this isn’t to berate you in any way - heaven knows I struggle to keep on top of these things at the best of times - but to let you know to keep an extra eye out for these so you can pop them in your calendar. WOOT!

2. Popular feedback was also around accessing more resources. In that spirit, I thought I’d use this week’s Charge Up email to share a few that I’ve been really learning from of late.

PODCAST: How To Get Yourself To Finish Big Projects Well - The Creative Pep Talk

I LOVE Cal Newport’s work (if you haven’t become aquainted with him yet I highly recommend checking his stuff out, I particular love his book “Deep Work”. Anyway, this podcast episode rocked my world, particularly his advice on pushing through worries about your work not being good. He tells himself: “Okay well this’ll just be a finished book. The NEXT book can be good.”

Confession - I had no idea who Hilary Mantel was before I read this article, but I got a lot out of it!
